Lumsden Historic Train Station
Lumsden Historic Train Station
Lumsden Historic Train Station preserves the town’s railway-junction story in the centre of Northern Southland. The precinct includes the station, rolling stock and two recovered V-class steam locomotives that spent decades in the Ōreti river system before returning to public display. It is an easy stop from Diana Street; respect barriers and check the Heritage Trust’s current access or event information before making a special journey.
